A Flush Bottom Valve (FBV) is specially designed to provide complete and efficient drainage from the bottom of tanks, vessels, and reactors. Installed directly at the bottom outlet, this valve ensures zero hold-up, smooth discharge, and easy cleaning, making it ideal for processes where product contamination, residue build-up, or dead zones must be avoided. Flush Bottom Valves are widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, and specialty process industries where safe handling and full evacuation of liquids, slurries, and viscous media are critical. The valve design allows the disc to sit flush with the vessel bottom, preventing accumulation of product and enabling quick cleaning between batches.

Flush Bottom Valves are engineered to control the discharge of fluids from reactors, tanks, and vessels while ensuring leak-tight sealing and smooth operation. The valve body is designed to mount directly onto the vessel’s bottom nozzle, allowing product to flow out without obstruction.
